Whales now hold 4M $BTC.
Big players control ~19% of all $BTC — about $360B worth.
When I saw the latest BitcoinTreasuries numbers, j’ai fait de gros yeux 😳. ETFs, public and private companies, funds, institutions, even governments — together they now hold over 4,000,000 $BTC. At today’s market price, that’s roughly $360B sitting in digital gold.
That means almost 19% of the entire $BTC supply is in the hands of major players. And here I am under the southern sun, thinking about how wild this journey has been: Bitcoin started as a playground for enthusiasts, and now it’s a strategic reserve asset for Wall Street and nation-states.
These numbers don’t scare me — they just highlight how serious this space has become. The scale changed, but the core story stays the same: limited supply, growing appetite.
