Vitalik warns against AI running crypto projects.
Saw his post today — Vitalik isn’t buying the hype of handing project governance over to AI. And honestly, I get him. The timing is spicy too: right after a fresh exploit showed how easy it is to jailbreak ChatGPT and make it leak sensitive info. 🤯
Instead of “naïve AI governance,” Vitalik suggests something more grounded: an open market of models competing, getting audited, stress-tested, and — most importantly — judged by real humans. In his view, that’s how you get true diversity and strong incentives to patch weaknesses fast.
I like this take. Crypto has always been about decentralization and resilience, not blind faith in some shiny new tech. AI can be a tool, sure, but giving it the keys to the kingdom? Trop risqué. Better to keep humans in the loop, with AI as support, not overlord.
