The payments giant launched a pilot with $USDC and $EURC from Circle to speed up cross-border transfers.
For years, Visa was the symbol of the old world — plastic cards, banks, clearing delays. Now, it’s literally testing stablecoins as rails for international money flow. That’s not just innovation, that’s survival instinct.
I imagine some banker in a suit trying to explain why a wire transfer takes 3 days, while here I can send $USDC in seconds… franchement, the gap is laughable. If this pilot scales, the world’s biggest payment network could quietly transform into a crypto highway.
And when that happens, we’ll look back at this little “pilot” as the start of something massive.
