Trading without leaving the vault.
Deutsche Börse just rolled out something quite sérieux: their subsidiary Crypto Finance launched “AnchorNote”, a system that lets institutions trade $BTC, $ETH and friends across multiple venues — without moving coins out of regulated custody.
What does that mean in practice? 🧐
– Settlement happens off-exchange.
– Liquidity is pooled across different platforms.
– Capital gets used more efficiently, counterparty risk drops.
For the big players, it’s like finally getting a dashboard to move collateral around smoothly, or plugging it directly into their infrastructure via API. Less hassle, less risk, more flow.
I see this as another clear step: traditional finance is building its own pipes to crypto. Slowly, yes, but with heavy machinery. When giants like Deutsche Börse, who already run Frankfurt’s stock exchange and Clearstream’s massive custody network, lay tracks… the train will come. 🚂
