Imagine scrolling Telegram chats and, in the same app, buying tokenized Tesla or S&P500 ETF shares. That’s exactly where Wallet is heading with its new integration via xStocks, backed by partnerships with Kraken and Backed.
On paper, it’s huge: over 60 tokenized US equities and ETFs available directly inside the Telegram wallet. No extra apps, no jumping through hoops — just pure “chat and trade.”
But here’s my gut take: it’s ambitious, maybe even a little crazy. Tokenized stocks have always lived in this grey zone — regulators watch them like hawks, liquidity can be thin, and mainstream adoption is still baby steps. Yet, if there’s one platform where this could actually catch fire, it’s Telegram. The mix of memes, trading culture, and global reach is parfait for this kind of experiment.
So yeah, don’t be surprised if your Telegram groups soon have people shilling not only $BTC or $ETH, but also tokenized $AAPL or $TSLA.
