Top-100 now costs just $500M.
Alts crashed so hard that half a billion gets you into the elite.

Sitting here with my evening café, I keep thinking about how wild this cycle has been. On a full bull run you needed over $1B in market cap just to squeeze into the Top-100. Now? $500M is enough to roll right in comme ça.

It’s a brutal reminder of how strongly the market has crushed altcoins — in the broadest sense. Not just the low-caps, not just the meme stuff… even serious projects got dragged deep into the red. Entire sectors shrank, liquidity thinned, and narratives that looked unstoppable in 2024 suddenly feel like distant memories.

But that’s the thing about alts: they die fast, and they rise just as violently. These reset phases are painful, sure, but they also clear space for the next generation of winners. And when the tide eventually turns, the climb back to those billion-dollar caps can be explosive.

For now, though? Half a billion gets you into the VIP list. Says everything about where we are in the cycle. 🌊🔥
