The U.S. wants a Bitcoin reserve.
Big news brewing in Washington: lawmakers are sitting down today with Michael Saylor, Tom Lee, Fred Thiel and other heavyweights to push forward the BITCOIN Act. The plan? Build a strategic $BTC reserve, just like gold. 🦅💰
Senator Cynthia Lummis’ proposal is ambitious: accumulate 1,000,000 $BTC over 5 years, funded not by raising taxes but through “budget-neutral” tricks — revaluing gold certificates, tariff revenues, and similar fiscal gymnastics.
If this goes through, the U.S. wouldn’t just be the dollar empire anymore… it would also be one of the biggest Bitcoin whales on the planet. Imagine the geopolitical weight of that. While some countries ban mining or ignore crypto, America could literally enshrine $BTC as part of its strategic assets.
We’ve already seen Congress pass its first stablecoin law (GENIUS) this summer. Now the target is clear: regulate the whole crypto market, and put Bitcoin in the vault next to gold.
