Seventeen years since the first Bitcoin breath.

Seventeen years since the first Bitcoin breath.

Seventeen years ago, the Genesis Block was mined, and a quiet revolution started with $BTC, one block, one idea.

I still love how humble it all feels. No fireworks, no VC decks, just a block mined on January 3rd, 2009, carrying a message like a bottle thrown into the future. At that time, nobody cared. Banks were collapsing, trust was evaporating, and somewhere in the digital dark, Satoshi pressed “enter”.

Fast forward 17 years. $BTC survived ridicule, bans, bubbles, crashes, prophets, clowns, and traitors. It kept producing blocks, every ten minutes, like a stubborn metronome ignoring the noise. That’s what always gets me. Not the price. The consistency.

From my terrace in the south, espresso in hand, I sometimes think about that first block as a lighthouse. Not perfect, not magical, but steady. In a world addicted to shortcuts, Bitcoin chose patience. Franchement, respect.

Happy birthday to the Genesis Block. Still here. Still running. Still misunderstood. 🪙🔥
