Glassnode tracks heavy $BTC selling from 7+ year wallets 🐋📊
According to Glassnode, so-called “veteran whales” — wallets holding Bitcoin for over seven years — have been spending more than 1,000 $BTC per hour in recent sessions. That’s serious movement from some of the oldest holders in the network.
Researchers note that this cycle is unique: early-generation whales are distributing more consistently than in previous ones, suggesting a healthy broadening of supply ownership rather than panic selling.
In other words, the OGs are cashing out little by little — not dumping, but rebalancing. And every coin that leaves their cold wallets finds its way into newer, hungrier hands. That’s how markets evolve, n’est-ce pas?
