Nvidia goes all-in on AI.
The news just dropped: Nvidia plans to invest up to $100 billion in OpenAI 🤯. For context, that’s not just “a big check” — that’s an entire new dimension of the AI arms race.
Nvidia already dominates the chips behind both $BTC mining and AI training. Now, by throwing this kind of money at OpenAI, they’re basically securing the future demand for their GPUs while cementing themselves as the beating heart of the AI–crypto–cloud triangle.
To me, it feels like déjà vu from the early internet days — when infrastructure giants quietly positioned themselves, while most people were distracted by the flashy apps on top. If Nvidia wins this bet, they’ll control both the picks and the shovels of the new gold rush.
