North Korean hackers play chess, not checkers.
Reading CZ’s warning gave me chills. These guys aren’t just smashing wallets with brute force anymore — they’re slipping in like actors in a play 🎭. Pretend to be a job applicant, a recruiter, a random user in support chat… all with the same goal: sneak malware in, or buy their way through insiders. And the bill? Recently, $400M+ drained after a leak in an Indian outsourcing service. Insane.
It’s crazy to think about: in crypto we talk a lot about decentralization, but the weakest link is often still… people. Not your smart contract, not your cold wallet, but that one employee who clicks the wrong file or accepts a bribe. Human error has no patch update.
What do we do? Personally, I’ve learned to treat every unknown file or link like it’s radioactive ☢️. And for companies in this space, security culture has to be as natural as morning espresso. Otherwise, hackers from Pyongyang are already two steps ahead.
