iPhone 17 just raised the bar for crypto security.
Apple dropped a new hardware-level shield called Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE), and honestly, it feels like they finally took us — the crypto crowd — seriously. 🛡 This system blocks around 70% of zero-day vulnerabilities, which are usually the dream doors for hackers.
Why it matters? If you’re signing $BTC or $ETH transactions on your iPhone or using Passkeys, MIE basically covers one of the most common weak spots: memory errors. That’s the playground hackers love to exploit. With this, developing spyware for iOS just got a whole lot more expensive, more risky, and frankly moins rentable.
Feels good to see a mainstream tech giant adding layers that actually protect our wallets, not just our selfies. 🍷
