FTX finally pays, but the ghost of 2026 already haunts us.
Tomorrow $FTX kicks off its first big repayment — over $5B in stablecoins back to creditors. 😱
It’s a huge step in closing one of the darkest chapters of crypto. Yet, instead of relief, I feel that familiar unease: who’s next? In 2024 it was one exchange, in 2025 $Bybit barely survived with last-minute lifelines… The cycle of excess and collapse never really stops in our world.
That’s the paradox I love and hate about crypto: incredible innovation, but always this shadow of collapse just around the corner. Which exchange will carry the scarlet letter of 2026? We don’t know — but history tells us someone will. And when that day comes, the Mediterranean sun won’t feel as warm on my skin.
