Crypto lost this round to old-school assets.

Gold shines, stocks grind up, and crypto bleeds — 2025 has been humbling for digital assets.

This year hurts a bit, not gonna lie. I’m looking at the sea, the light is perfect, but the portfolio? Pas ouf 😅
While crypto Twitter keeps arguing narratives, traditional assets quietly destroyed us.

Let’s look at the scoreboard, cold and honest:

🥈 Silver: +130%
🥇 Gold: +65%
🔧 Copper: +35%
📈 Nasdaq: +20%
📊 S&P 500: +16%
🏭 Russell 2000: +13%

And now… crypto:

🟠 $BTC: -6%
🔵 $ETH: -12%
🌪 Altcoins: -42%

Yeah. That’s not even a debate.

This is one of those years where being “early” doesn’t pay — being boring does. Hard assets, commodities, equities… they did their job. Crypto? It chopped, leaked, and punished impatience.

But here’s the thing most people miss:
Crypto doesn’t outperform every year. It compresses, it frustrates, it makes you question your sanity… then it explodes when nobody wants it anymore.

Right now feels like late-cycle pain mixed with narrative exhaustion. The kind of moment where tourists leave and builders stay. I’ve seen this movie before — more than once.

So yeah, this year belongs to gold bugs and stock enjoyers. Respect.
But I’m not selling my long-term conviction for a shiny metal rally.

Markets rotate. Stories change. Cycles don’t.

Stay calm, stay solvent 🌊
