Bitcoin mining is quietly going green.
61.5% of $BTC miners now run on renewable energy, only 6.4% still rely purely on fossil fuels — the old narrative is cracking.
I remember the noise a few years back. $BTC was “dirty”, “criminal”, “doomed”. Every dinner with non-crypto friends felt like a courtroom. Yet here we are. Mining adapted, regulation cleaned the mess, and the network just… kept breathing 🌊
This shift matters more than people think. Less environmental pressure means fewer political excuses to ban mining. And when you combine that with shrinking illicit activity, you see an asset that’s growing up, slowly but surely. Pas mal, non?
$BTC isn’t perfect, but it’s evolving — like a long swim in cold Mediterranean water. Tough at first, then strangely refreshing 😌
