Binance fights back against listing fee accusations.
Exchange denies charging projects for listings and threatens legal action.

Here’s the tea 🍵 — CJ Hetherington, head of Limitless Labs, accused Binance of asking for 8% of airdrops and a $250K deposit just to list a token. Binance fired back fast, calling it straight-up defamation and claiming deposits exist only to protect users, not to fill their pockets.

After a heated exchange (and a deleted post), Binance softened its tone and apologized for being “too harsh,” but held its ground — saying it earns zero from listings and provides full transparency on costs.

Even $BNB’s old boss, CZ himself, chimed in — reminding everyone that “exchanges chase strong projects, not the other way around.” Honestly, I get his point. The best projects don’t beg for listings — they get hunted for. That’s just how crypto works, mon ami 😏.
