Big capital warms up for crypto in 2026.
JPMorgan sees institutions — not retail — as the next major fuel for crypto inflows once rules become clearer.
I read this and leaned back for a second. JPMorgan doesn’t talk like this lightly.
According to JPMorgan, the next real impulse for crypto won’t come from retail hype or flashy corporate $BTC treasuries, but from institutional capital finally stepping in with size — starting in 2026.
They point out something important: the 2025 rally was mostly driven by $BTC and $ETH ETFs and corporate buys. DAT alone brought in over $68B, with around $23B coming from Strategy. Solid, yes — but that wave has slowed since autumn. The baton is being passed.
What institutions want is boring but powerful: clear rules, legal comfort, and predictable frameworks. That’s where regulation comes in. JPMorgan explicitly mentions rising trust from traditional finance and the potential impact of the CLARITY Act in the US. If that clicks, we’re not just talking price — we’re talking VC deals, M&A, IPOs.
This is how markets mature. Quiet at first. Then suddenly obvious.
No fireworks yet — but the doors are being unlocked. Tranquille.
I’ll be watching 2026 very closely. 🧭
