America inches toward another shutdown.

America inches toward another shutdown.

Washington drama, ticking clocks, and a system that can’t sync itself.

According to Chad Pergram, even if the Senate reaches a budget compromise, up to 78% of federal agencies could still partially shut down. Why? The House simply doesn’t have time to pass the changes before the deadline. Timing kills deals.

The White House is talking to both Democrats and Republicans, but US Congress is moving out of sync. Different chambers, different clocks, same old outcome. A temporary shutdown now looks almost… inevitable.

Markets usually pretend this is noise. And short term, maybe it is. But zoom out and it adds to the same picture: governance by patchwork, debt by extension, confidence held together with tape.

Every shutdown chips a little more trust away. Institutions don’t collapse loudly — they erode quietly, deadline after deadline. Crypto doesn’t react immediately to this stuff… but it remembers.

From here, it’s less about if and more about how long. Encore un épisode.
