That’s exactly what happened. The attacker didn’t rush, didn’t poke, didn’t alert anyone. He simply waited. And when a substantial amount finally hit the wallet, he pulled the trigger and drained it instantly. No hacks, no exploits — just a signature the victim likely forgot even existed.
