0G Labs’ X account gets hacked.
Attacker demanded the “promised airdrop” and spread fake links.
Late on October 5, the official X (Twitter) account of 0G Labs was compromised. The hacker posted accusations against the project and pushed phishing links disguised as the project’s real site — classic social-engineering stuff.
The attacker claimed that 0G Labs had cut its $ZERO GRAVITY airdrop from $640M down to $10M, trying to stir outrage and bait users into clicking. Thankfully, the team regained control within 24 hours and confirmed that security has been fully restored.
It’s a good reminder — even major Web3 teams can get hit. Social platforms remain a weak link, and phishing through “official” accounts is one of the most effective traps out there. Always double-check URLs, especially when the word airdrop pops up — parce qu’un clic de trop, et c’est fini.
